Data processing agreement
- open_matter with the client's identity and every party's legal name. The firm runs an automatic conflicts check.
- The named person receives the engagement text by e-mail and accepts it with a one-time code.
- get_payment_link: the fee is charged in full at checkout. Once payment is received and the conflicts check is clear, the engagement has begun.
- submit_dpa_facts with the facts listed by get_dpa_requirements.
- A lawyer reviews the agreement and releases it. get_deliverable with the matter token.
- The firm accepts the engagement when its automatic conflicts check is clear and payment is received (for a subscriber, when the engagement is accepted and the check is clear). If a possible conflict is found, nothing is charged, or the payment is refunded in full.
- The named person accepts the engagement by a one-time code sent to their work e-mail, and can stop a request that was not theirs.
- The client's facts are encrypted at rest, are never sent to any artificial intelligence model, and are deleted from this site 30 days after release.
- A lawyer reviews every agreement before release.

The named person also receives a link by e-mail.
Target, not a guarantee: the agreement is released within 4 business hours of complete facts, after a lawyer's review. Business hours are 9:00 to 17:00 Pacific time, Monday to Friday, except United States federal holidays.
