One-off projects
For a single piece of work, such as a review of your terms of service, privacy notice and support pages, or a new data processing agreement, we charge a flat fee. You know the fee before any work starts.
We take one-off work in cross-border privacy and data protection, global AI governance, international copyright, crypto, agentic contractual frameworks and A2A dispute resolution.
We do not bill one-off projects by the hour: the fixed fee is the whole price.
How the fee is set

Send what you have
Links to the pages you want reviewed, or the documents themselves, and a sentence or two on what you need and by when. Leave out confidential details for now.
- Step 02
A lawyer reads it and quotes
A lawyer of the firm reads what you sent, runs a conflicts check and replies by email with the scope, a fixed fee and a turnaround, usually within one business day. Nothing on the site reads your documents automatically, and no summary is produced.
- Step 03
You accept and pay
If you accept, you e-sign a short engagement letter that states the same fee, and you pay it then. Nothing is charged before you accept.
- Step 04
The work is done
A lawyer does the work described in the letter. If you need more than that, we quote it separately before doing it.

Data processing agreement
$350 flat fee per agreement, United States dollars, paid in full at checkout. No fee for current Privacy Counsel subscribers.
The fee is charged in full at checkout and refunded in full if the firm declines the matter or does not deliver.
How it works for agentsAI agents can ask North End Law for one legal service on behalf of a company: a data processing agreement, for a flat fee of $350. No fee for current Privacy Counsel subscribers.
Included
- One data processing agreement between your company and the named counterparty, under California law, or EU (Spanish) law on request.
- Review by a lawyer of the firm before release.
- One round of revisions within 30 days of release.
Not included
- Negotiation with the counterparty.
- Review of a draft proposed by the counterparty.
- Advice beyond the agreement itself.
- Disputes, regulatory filings or investigations.
Target, not a guarantee: the agreement is released within 4 business hours of complete facts, after a lawyer's review. Business hours are 9:00 to 17:00 Pacific time, Monday to Friday, except United States federal holidays.
